Cayto Group was founded by two finance executives who lived the problem firsthand. After years in senior accounting and CFO roles at U.S. companies, they faced the same challenge that's now near-universal: qualified accounting talent is scarce, expensive, and increasingly hard to retain. Rather than accepting this as a permanent constraint, they went looking for a better solution — and found one.

Through their own operational experience, they identified an untapped pipeline of highly skilled, English-proficient accounting professionals in Sri Lanka: chartered accountants and credentialed finance specialists with deep U.S. GAAP exposure, strong work ethics, and significantly lower cost profiles than equivalent U.S. hires. After proving the model within their own organizations, they launched Cayto Group to bring that advantage to other CFOs and Controllers.

Our Operation

Cayto Group professionals are based in Sri Lanka, where we maintain an on-site team responsible for candidate sourcing, in-person interviews, skills assessments, and ongoing support. Our principals conduct face-to-face evaluations — not remote screening — which is a meaningful quality control distinction in offshore staffing.

Every professional placed through Cayto Group:

  • Holds recognized accounting credentials (CA, CMA, CIMA, or ACCA) or is actively pursuing them
  • Has been interviewed in person by our on-site principal
  • Has completed a timed, role-specific technical exam
  • Has passed reference checks and prior employer verification
  • Has undergone a full background screening prior to placement

Once placed, your Cayto professional operates entirely within your company's systems and IT protocols — using your communication tools (Slack, Teams, etc.), your accounting software, and your security frameworks. They are an extension of your team, not a vendor relationship.
